Newcastle pair to remain on loan at Coventry until end of season

Coventry City has extended Gael Bigirimana's loan from Newcastle United, where the Burundi international will remain with fellow Magpie and Sky Blues' top scorer Adam Armstrong.
Bigirimana, 22, began his career at the Ricoh Arena before moving north-east in 2012, and impressed over five appearances since he returned on an emergency loan in November.
"Gael has excellent technical ability and has really settled into the environment since coming back, providing us with another crucial option in midfield," Coventry manager Tony Mowbray told Kieran Crowley from the club website.
Armstrong has been in fine goalscoring form in his temporary spell from Newcastle, plundering 16 goals in 23 matches.
Coventry welcomes Burton Albion to the east Midlands in Saturday's League One action.
