Report: Arsenal lures highly-rated scout away from Leicester City
The man who helped bring the likes of Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante to Leicester City is on his way to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal is close to snatching up highly-rated scout Ben Wrigglesworth, who is expected to join the Gunners in the next few weeks, according to John Percy of The Telegraph.
Wrigglesworth could become the second member of Leicester's scouting team to move to north London in the past year, following Rob Mackenzie's appointment as head of player identification at Tottenham last February.
Percy adds that Arsenal is also reportedly looking to bring aboard Leicester's head of recruitment, Steve Walsh, who has been cited as the mastermind behind the team's superb start to the season.
Walsh and Wrigglesworth played significant roles in the recruiting process that saw Mahrez, Kante, and Jamie Vardy join the Foxes.
