Watford completed a bit of business before its match Monday against Swansea City by announcing the arrival of Nordin Amrabat from Malaga.
Terms of the transfer were not disclosed, but earlier reports suggest Watford activated Amrabat's £6-million release clause.

The club added that the Morocco international will join his new teammates following Watford's encounter with Swansea, and he'll be available for Saturday's match against Newcastle United.
"He has the qualities of the players we like," Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores said in the announcement.
"He can play at Number 10; he holds the ball, he can turn quickly with the strength of a striker and escape the defensive line.
"He can also play as a winger because he has that pace and velocity - the power that adds to the options of a team."
The 28-year-old winger appeared in 13 of Malaga's 20 matches in Spain's top flight this season and should provide a pair of fresh legs on either flank.
