Garde left unimpressed with Grealish following Aston Villa's FA Cup win
Aston Villa may have advanced to the next stage of the FA Cup, but that didn't stop manager Remi Garde from criticising Jack Grealish.
The young midfielder, who was making a rare start for Villa, failed to impress his French manager after the team's win over Wycombe, as Garde was left wanting more from Grealish.
"It was his first game for quite a long time, I haven't seen exactly what I've wanted to see him from him tonight," Garde told reporters.
It's yet another blemish for the youngster's once-promising career and a new chapter to their rocky relationship.
Garde chose to demote Grealish to Villa's under-21 team shortly after replacing Tim Sherwood on the touchline. The decision was made following the emergence of reports that the 20-year-old was spotted at nigthlcub after a match.
His inability to make a positive impression has limited Grealish to just 14 appearances in all competitions and one goal to his name.
