English outfit Chelsea announced on Thursday the club has sent underused defender Papy Djilobodji out on loan to Werder Bremen until the end of the season.
Djilobodji joined the Blues out of Nantes last summer but was famously unused at Stamford Bridge, with Jose Mourinho saying he did not even want the full-back at Chelsea.
As such, the Senegalese international has only made one appearance for Chelsea in the League Cup, coming on as a substitute against Walsall back in September 2015.
