In-form forward Gary Hooper has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Sheffield Wednesday, making his initial loan spell from Norwich City permanent.
The 27-year-old, who joins for an undisclosed fee, bagged six strikes over six starts in his temporary stay. He did his claims to be a fan favourite no harm last Saturday, when he put a brace beyond Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to claim a 2-0 win against the Owls' Yorkshire rival.
Hooper is expected to be immediately drafted into the matchday squad for the trip to Reading this weekend.
