Arsenal youngster Glen Kamara returns to Southend on loan

Arsenal midfielder Glen Kamara has returned to the club where he spent his formative years, linking up with Southend United on a loan spell until the end of the season.
Kamara was in the youth system at the Shrimpers for a year after moving to England from his native Finland, but was quickly picked up by Arsenal in 2012. He made his debut for Arsene Wenger's league-chasing outfit in a 2-0 League Cup loss to Sheffield Wednesday in October.
"I'm delighted to get the deal done," Southend manager Phil Brown told the club website. "Just like the others players we have brought in, I think it will help us improve significantly."
Kamara is expected to be named in the matchday squad for the visit of Coventry City on Saturday, along with fellow newcomer Sam McQueen, on loan from Sunderland.
