Liverpool supporters could be treated to a welcome sight at Anfield if Luis Suarez ever decides to play in the Premier League again.

The Barcelona striker proposed that a possible return to England would see him rejoin the club he departed in 2014, adding that he would be unwilling to play for any other Premier League side.

"You never know what will happen in the future," Suarez told ESPN as translated by EuroSport. "If I was to return to England, it would be to play for Liverpool - not for any other team."

Although he's thrived alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar in front of adoring fans at the Camp Nou, Suarez paid homage to the Liverpool faithful and explained the importance of playing in front of such passionate Merseyside supporters.

"I've missed the fans," Suarez added. "The atmosphere is incredible. Everyone that has played for Liverpool knows how important the supporters are. They know that they're in my heart.”

However, a glorious return to Anfield may have to wait since his contract with Barca runs until 2019 and the Spanish giants have shown no intentions of letting the 29-year-old depart any time soon.
