VIDEO: Barkley, Fernandinho swap goals as Otamendi hides in shame

What in the world was Nicolas Otamendi thinking here?
The Manchester City defender was entirely suspect in Everton's opening goal in the second leg of the League Cup semifinal, sliding in poorly on Ross Barkley in midfield, then failing to track back adequately to prevent Barkley's shot on goal.
As Barkley celebrated his strike - which gave Everton a two-goal cushion - Otamendi could only hang his head in shame.
Luckily, Otamendi didn't cause too many problems for his team, as Fernandinho scored a goal minutes later to bring City within one at 3-2 aggregate.
