Leroy Fer is back in the Premier League.
The Netherlands international has left Championship side Queens Park Rangers to join Swansea City on loan until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old is one of QPR's highest earners this season, and the club has acted this month to offload some of that financial burden. Both forward Charlie Austin and Sandro sealed transfers to Southampton and West Brom, respectively, and Fer has followed them to the top flight.
A regular starter at Loftus Road, Fer has the experience to help Swansea in its battle against Premier League relegation. He has two goals and two assists so far this campaign, but it is not his goals that capture the eye. His sheer strength and versatility as a box-to-box midfielder make him an asset to any side.
Fer was one of QPR's best performers despite its demotion to the Championship last season. He joined Rangers for £8 million in 2014 after making his Premier League debut with Norwich City the previous year.
