Liverpool's Sturridge back to full training; unlikely to make quick return
Daniel Sturridge's days on the sidelines with a hamstring injury could be nearing an end with the Liverpool forward's return to full training on Wednesday.
His availability in the first team, however, will depend on his ability to keep fit during practice sessions, with manager Jurgen Klopp telling reporters that Sturridge needs to complete 10-12 consecutive days of training before being considered for a role in the starting XI.
Klopp added that the 26-year-old is unlikely to feature during Saturday's FA Cup replay against West Ham United.
Sturridge, who has been out of action since Dec. 6, participated in a training session Wednesday with Liverpool players who did not start Tuesday's 2-0 loss against Leicester City.
Injuries have limited Sturridge to just six appearances in all competitions this season following a 2014-15 campaign where he was, again, plagued by a series of knocks that limited him to just 20 matches.
