Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp returns from appendicitis surgery
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a speedy recovery from a bout with appendicitis, resuming his pre-match managerial duties Monday.
Just two days after missing Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Sunderland to receive treatment, Klopp met with the media to provide an update on his health, and look ahead to the team's upcoming FA Cup fourth-round replay against West Ham United on Tuesday.
The German gaffer was visibly relieved to be back at work after his procedure, telling reporters: "I'm back in the race!"

He added a couple tidbits of news that will please supporters, confirming that Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho and forward Divock Origi participated in another training session. However, their involvement against West Ham will be determined Tuesday ahead of the encounter.
