Pep Guardiola's move to England to manage Manchester City next season might eventually lead to another arrival from Spain.

Other than his wife, Sergio Busquets revealed that Guardiola is the only man that could tempt him to leave Barcelona following the strong relationship he formed with the Bayern Munich manager during their days together at the Camp Nou.

"I have always said there are just two people who could make me change my decision to stay at Barcelona," Busquets admitted to ESPN Deportes. "One of those two people is my wife. And she is happy here right now, so I don't think there will be any issues on a personal level.

"On a sporting level, that other person is Guardiola. It's clear that I owe Pep a lot and I would be honoured to work with him again."

Busquets, however, doubts that Guardiola would approach him about a move to the Etihad Stadium, or wherever else he plans to manage in the future. The 27-year-old, whose contract expires in 2019, added that he is content with life in Barcelona and that his former gaffer wouldn't want to disrupt his former team.

"He knows that Barcelona are my club and it's his club as well," Busquets said. "He knows it's best for the club and for me to stay here and I don't think he will ask me to leave Barcelona.

"I hope that when I end my career, I go down in history as a great team player, who won titles and excelled. I want to become one of the players with the most games for Barcelona."

Since the 2008-09 campaign, the Spain international has held a spot in the first team since surging through the youth ranks. He went on to win several trophies with Guardiola as manager, including two Champions League crowns in 2009 and 2011
