VIDEOS: Marcus Rashford scores 2 in debut as Manchester United thrashes Midtjylland
Marcus Rashford will remember this day for the rest of his life after the young forward added a pair of goals during his first-team debut to lift Manchester United to a 5-1 victory on aggregate over FC Midtjylland.
After replacing Anthony Martial in the starting squad because of injury, Rashford brought United level with Midtjylland when he found himself on the end of Juan Mata's cross before thumping the ball into an empty net.
Rashford was the hero again 11 minutes later, when he separated himself from defenders to get on the end of Gullermo Varela's cross into the box before producing a calm, one-touch finish to give United a 4-3 advantage.
United scored two more goals to put the match out of reach as the English side will now wait to see who it faces in the Round of 16 of the Europa League.
5 - Manchester United have scored five goals in a European game at Old Trafford for the first time since April 2007 (7-1 v Roma). Excited.
