FA charges Diego Costa with improper conduct for behaviour vs. Everton
The Football Association has charged Diego Costa with improper conduct relating to the Chelsea forward's antics after he was shown a red card during Sunday's FA Cup loss to Everton.
"It is alleged his behaviour, after being shown a second yellow card in the game, amounted to improper conduct," the English governing body said in a statement.
The FA added that Costa has until Thursday evening to respond to the charge.
Additionally, Costa has been asked to explain his actions at halftime when he was pictured leaving the pitch and gesturing towards Everton supporters.

Costa appeared to display an offensive gesture towards Everton supporters while he walked towards the dressing room.

He has until Wednesday evening to offer an explanation regarding the alleged two-fingered salute.
