Madrid - Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola is likely to be out for the rest of the season after undergoing an operation on Saturday for a fractured collarbone.
"Alvaro Odriozola was successfully operated on after a fractured left collarbone," Real Madrid said in a statement.
Zinedine Zidane had said in a press conference earlier on Saturday that it was unlikely the right-back would play again this season for Madrid, whose last match is scheduled for May 19.
Madrid, who sit third in La Liga, play at home to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
