Real Madrid to play postponed Valencia game in January

Real Madrid's match at Valencia in La Liga which was postponed because of flooding will be played on January 2, the Spanish football federation announced on Thursday.
The match was originally scheduled for November 2, but was postponed due to the catastrophic flooding in the Valencia region that resulted in over 220 deaths and millions of euros in damage.
The new date was the only option in a packed calendar for reigning European champions Real Madrid, who are in Copa del Rey action in early January before flying to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup from January 8.
