Former women's Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas is holding talks with several clubs, including London City Lionesses, having left Barcelona at the end of the season, a source close to the negotiations told AFP on Monday.
Spain's Putellas, 32, is "yet to make her decision" the source said saying there was interest from the English club, a Mexican outfit, a side from the United States and another team.
Putellas left Barca in May after helping the Catalans to the Champions League, Liga F, the Spanish Cup and Spanish SuperCup in the last of her 14 seasons at the club.
The Sabadell academy product has won the Spanish top flight on 10 occasions and the Champions League four times, playing a key role in Barca's dominance both at home and in Europe.
Putellas won the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Nations League with her country.
