Watch: Ronaldo waives off security to allow selfie with pitch invader
Hate him if you must, but Cristiano Ronaldo has always been more than generous with his time when it comes to fans - regardless of the situation.
That includes coming off a bitterly frustrating result.
After the final whistle of Saturday's contest against Austria, Ronaldo, who smacked the post with a crucial late penalty that would have given his side three points - and was thwarted multiple times in the contest - reminded everyone that their demonising of him is unwarranted.

The photogenic attacker posed for a selfie with a pitch invader, even waiving off security who asked multiple times to intervene.
Questions should obviously be asked of the security at the Parc des Princes that allowed the man to get onto the field and into the swarm of players - particularly given all of the issues that have plagued the tournament thus far - but Ronaldo's insistence on allowing him to enjoy the momentous occasion was certainly admirable.
