Spain have lost Nico Williams and Alejandro Balde to injury ahead of their key Euro 2024 qualifier against Norway on Sunday.
Coach Luis de la Fuente called up Villarreal left-back Alfonso Pedraza for their next match after the 2-0 win over Group A leaders Scotland on Thursday in Seville.
The Spanish football federation said in a statement after the game that Williams has a chest problem which meant he was not involved in the win over Scotland, while Barcelona defender Balde was taken off at half-time with a thigh issue.
The Spanish champions have various players out injured, including winger Lamine Yamal, who arrived for Spain duty with a hip injury and was released, with the Clasico against Real Madrid approaching on October 28.
Spain can seal Euro 2024 qualification with a win over Norway in Oslo.
