England will be without one of its best defenders for Saturday's Euro 2016 qualifier after Leighton Baines suffered an unspecified injury during training on Friday.
Kieran Gibbs, the team's only remaining left-back, is in line to start the country's match against Slovenia on Friday and Monday's friendly against Scotland.
The injury came at an unfortunate time for the Three Lions as it occurred after the deadline for the final squad submissions to UEFA, meaning left-back Luke Shaw will be unavailable since he was not on England's 23-man roster.
Baines will travel back to Everton's training ground to seek further treatment from the team's medical staff.
