Danny Welbeck will not take part in England's upcoming friendly against Italy.
Multiple reports claim that the Arsenal striker, who scored a goal and set up another in the Three Lions' 4-0 win over Lithuania on Friday, has pulled out of the squad for Tuesday's friendly with a knee injury.
The Telegraph notes that Welbeck, 24, picked up the ailment in the second half of Friday's Euro 2016 qualifier, and that it was the reason for his substitution in the 77th minute.
There has been no word yet on the severity of the injury.
