Maybe this isn't the last time we'll see Trent Alexander-Arnold wearing No. 10 for England.
The full-back starred in central midfield during England's Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta on Friday, confidently swerving a beautiful finish into the far corner for the Three Lions' second goal of the 4-0 win.
With five Manchester City players rested, England boss Gareth Southgate selected Alexander-Arnold in a similar role to the one he filled under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp toward the end of the 2022-23 season.
The 24-year-old has registered 54 assists during his Premier League career, the second-most by a defender after Liverpool teammate Andy Robertson (57).
