Max Verstappen: Signs Big Extension

World champion Verstappen has signed a bumper five-year contract extension with Red Bull, in a deal that will keep him at the team until at least the end of 2028, Formula1.com reports.

Analysis:

The reigning champion signed quite an extension with Red Bull Racing. Verstappen is locked up with the organization for the next six years. Both sides seemed very eager to extend what has become a very successful relationship. "I love this team and last year was simply incredible," Verstappen said. "Our goal since we came together in 2016 was to win the championship and we have done that, so now it's about keeping the number one on the car long-term."
