Nyck De Vries: Tough Battle in Barcelona

De Vries finished 14th in the Spanish Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday.

Analysis:

The AlphaTauri rookie would hold the line in a tough battle Sunday at the Barcelona road course. De Vries started 14th on the grid and would hold position well going into his lap 8 pit stop. The strategy seemed to pay off as he would work back to P14 after stops cycled through and would even jump up to P10 during the day's second round of stops. However, De Vries would eventually lose a lap to leader Max Verstappen and fail to reel-in Oscar Piastri down the stretch to finish 14th-place on the day.
