Charles Leclerc: Pit Lane Speeding Penalty
Leclerc finished seventh in the Hungarian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Hungaroring circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Leclerc would start sixth on the grid and race up to P4 by the time his opening pit stop rolled around. The Ferrari star would battle out the middle stages of the grand prix with Fernando Alonso as well as his teammate, Carlos Sainz. However, Leclerc would incur a pit road speeding penalty and the stewards would assess a 5-second penalty to the veteran. When applied after the race would drop Leclerc to an eventual P7 result.
