Carlos Sainz Jr: Leads FP3 at Monza
Ferrari continued their fine form from Friday as Sainz set the pace in the final practice session at the team's home race in Monza, as he narrowly led rival Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton ahead of qualifying later today, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
That makes two practices in a row for Sainz. After leading Friday's second session, he took the track Saturday and topped final practice at the Monza Circuit. The Ferrari veteran forged a lap of 1:20.912 in a mock qualifying run and beat out Max Verstappen by a mere 0.086-seconds. Sainz has certainly flexed his muscles this weekend and will hope to challenge for the win Sunday in the Italian GP.
