Sergio Perez: Solid weekend in Japan
Perez finished second in the Japanese Grand Prix F1 race at the Suzuka International Racing Course on Sunday.
Analysis:
Red Bull had a clear pace advantage over the field throughout the weekend, and Perez avoided mistakes to turn in a solid performance. He started second on the grid after qualifying just over two-tenths of a second quicker than McLaren's Lando Norris. On Sunday, he finished eight seconds clear of Carlos Sainz Jr., tallying his third second-place finish in four chances this season. He's 13 points behind teammate Max Verstappen for first in the driver standings, but he'll more likely be focused on fending off the pair of Ferraris.
