Yuki Tsunoda: Contact and Damage in China
Tsunoda would suffer damage after contact with Kevin Magnussen and finished 19th in the Chinese Grand Prix F1 race at Shanghai International Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
The mid-race restart would not only be the undoing of Daniel Ricciardo, but it would also see Kevin Magnussen tip Tsunoda into a spin as drivers piled up pending the restart. The RB Racing youngster would suffer terminal right rear damage from the contact, and would be immediately be forced to return to the garage for the afternoon with the disappointing DNF. It was Tsunoda's worst finish of the season in what has otherwise been a good start to the 2024 campaign.
