George Russell: Unremarkable weekend in Miami
Russell finished eighth in the Miami Grand Prix F1 race at Miami International Autodrome on Sunday.
Analysis:
Russell came away from the sprint weekend with only four championship points. He qualified 11th for the sprint race and ultimately crossed the finish line having lost one position. He managed to collect points in the traditional grand prix, though he was unable to pass Yuki Tsunoda of RB Honda -- illustrating some of the disappointing pace the Mercedes has shown early in 2024. Russell also finished in worse position than teammate Lewis Hamilton for the first time this season, making it a forgettable weekend for him.
