Lance Stroll: Puncture ends chance for points

Stroll finished 14th at the Monaco Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Monaco on Sunday.

Analysis:

Stroll reached Q2, a better fate than his teammate Fernando Alonso, and began the race in P13 after a couple of disqualifications ahead of him. He also picked up a spot on the opening lap of the race, putting in 11th for the majority of the grand prix. Like much of the field, Stroll tried to go through the race without pitting after a red flag on the opening lap, though graining was severe enough on his medium tire to force him to the pits. From 12th place, Alonso built up a gap for Stroll to put on fresh tires without losing position, though that effort was undone after Stroll suffered a puncture on Lap 49.
