Lewis Hamilton: Finishes fourth in Austria
Hamilton finished fourth in the Austrian Grand Prix F1 race at Red Bull Ring on Sunday.
Analysis:
Hamilton had a relatively uninspiring start to the weekend, qualifying sixth for the sprint and finishing in the same position. His grand prix was more eventful, as he started in fifth, impressively out-performing all three of Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri and Sergio Perez. Some of that track position was undone with some uncharacteristic mistakes during the grand prix, most importantly when he went across the pit lane entry line on his way to a stop on Lap 23. That resulted in a five-second penalty, and combined with some early damage he endured, prevented him from contending from a podium even with finishes ahead of both Lando Norris and Max Verstappen.
