Patricio O’Ward: Wins at Mid-Ohio
O'Ward resisted constant pressure from NTT IndyCar Series championship leader Alex Palou over the closing laps to win The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the 2025 Civic Hybrid on Sunday.
Analysis:
Alex Palou would dominate most of the race, but O'Ward would take over in the late stages and stay ahead of the reigning IndyCar champion. Some lapped traffic in the closing laps would hold up the leaders and make things very interesting right up to the checkered flag. However, O'Ward would hold Palou at bay and capture the win. It was the Arrow McLaren star's second victory of the season.
