Lando Norris: Fast FP2 in Hungary
Norris ended the opening day of action at the Hungarian Grand Prix on top after going fastest in second practice, a session that was interrupted following an earlier crash for Charles Leclerc, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
A hot race track greeted drivers in this second session ahead of pole qualifying in Hungary. A shot red flag 44 minutes into the session for Leclerc's spin would be the only stoppage. Norris would eventually climb to the top of the timing sheets with a lap of 1:17.788, which would be the best of the day of the Hungaroring. The McLaren star would be just over two-tenths clear of Max Verstappen. Norris looks like he'll challenge for the pole and the win this weekend in Hungary.
