Daniel Ricciardo: Grabs Points at Spa
Ricciardo finished 10th at the Belgian Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday.
Analysis:
Ricciardo came from 13th on the starting grid to forge a points day at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday. He would be the only driver in the field to start on soft tyres and take a bit of a gamble on pit strategy. The Team RB veteran wouldn't gain any track position early and would be one of the first drivers on pit road at lap 8. From there Ricciardo would race up to P10 by his second stop of the day. A hot battle with Esteban Ocon in the closing laps would highlight his day and the post-race disqualification of George Russell would move Ricciardo up a spot to P10 and points in Belgium.
