Pierre Gasly: Leads FP3 in Zandvoort
Alpine's Gasly led Haas rival Kevin Magnussen and Kick Sauber's Valtteri Bottas during third and final practice for the Dutch Grand Prix - with a heavy crash for outgoing Williams driver Logan Sargeant severely interrupting the action and mixing up the order, Formula1.com reports.
Analysis:
Wet conditions greeted drivers on the Dutch circuit for FP3 Saturday. The wet surface and gusty wind conditions made for a challenging practice ahead of pole qualifying. Gasly would rise to the top of the order with a circuit of 1:20.311 of the Zandvoort track. That's well off the normal lap time of a dry surface. Gasly would edge Magnussen by just over a tenth to lead the session. The Alpine veteran will hope to grab points this Sunday in the Dutch Grand Prix.
