Daniel Ricciardo: Multiple Penalties at Monza

RIcciardo finished 13th in the Italian Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Monza Circuit on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Team RB veteran would start 12th on the grid after a reasonable qualifying effort Saturday at Monza. Ricciardo would be among the early drivers to pit on lap 11 as he attempted to undercut most of the field. The strategy would seem to work out as he would race up to P11 on his single-stop strategy. However, a penalty levied for contact with Nico Hulkenberg would impact his performance and another 10-seond penalty for improperly serving the first penalty with further hamper Ricciardo. He would end up a respectable P13 at Monza despite the double penalties.
