Lance Stroll: Nineteenth in Italy

Stroll finished 19th at the Italian Grand Prix F1 race at Autodromo Nazionale Monza on Sunday.

Analysis:

Stroll and Aston Martin made clear that there were low expectations for the race weekend given the lack of pace in the car. That turned out to be prescient, as he qualified 17th and was nearly three-tenths of a second off the pace of reaching Q2. Stroll did make up some ground in the grand prix but finished 19th after pitting to try to record the fastest lap on his final trip around the circuit.
