Daniel Ricciardo: Mid-Field Battle

Ricciardo finished 13th in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 race at Baku City Circuit on Sunday.

Analysis:

The Team RB veteran would roll off the starting grid Sunday on hard tyres hoping to get in a long opening stint. Ricciardo would climb as high as P10 at one point, but tyre degradation would eventually drag him back to 15th-place for much of the grand prix. A late, lap 49 pit stop would give him fresh rubber for the closing laps, but the best Ricciardo could manage was P13 at the checkered flag.
