Carlos Sainz Jr: Shocking Crash at Baku
Sainz crashed and finished 18th in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 race at Baku City Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Sainz would start third on the grid and wage a battle all afternoon for a podium position in the Azerbaijan GP. The Ferrari veteran would be in good position late and battling Sergio Perez for P3. However, the two would make contact between turns 2 and 3 with both making hard contact with the concrete wall. Sainz would go from podium contention to early retirement on lap 49. He'll look to rebound next round out in Singapore.
