Sergio Perez: Azerbaijan GP ends in crash
Perez did not finish the Azerbaijan Grand Prix F1 race at Baku City Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Perez has historically performed well at the Baku street course and this weekend was no exception. Despite Red Bull's continued poor form relative to the start of the season, Perez put his car on the second row of the grid in qualifying. He went on to run a clean race and was in line for a third-place finish. However, he came under pressure from Carlos Sainz Jr. and the duo collided on the second to last lap -- ended both of their races. It was a disappointing conclusion for Perez, but he should perform well in Singapore and be in position for a potential podium finish once again.
