Carlos Sainz Jr: P7 in Singapore Grand Prix
Sainz finished seventh in the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday evening.
Analysis:
The Ferrari veteran would have to overcome a P10 starting spot on the grid after his qualifying crash Saturday at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Sainz would have some luck moving forward, but not as much luck as his teammate, Charles Leclerc. He would pit on lap 13 and attempt the undercut strategy. It would allow Sainz to race up to P6 late in the grand prix, but he'd eventually lose one spot to Leclerc as his tyres had given up all grip late in the race. It was a decent recovery drive all things considered.
