Daniel Ricciardo: 3-Stops at Marina Bay Circuit

Ricciardo finished 18th in the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday evening.

Analysis:

Ricciardo would opt to start the race on soft tyres after a P16 start on the grid. He would attempt the undercut pit strategy and pit on lap 10, the first in the field to pit. The tyre and undercut strategy would not pay off and Ricciardo would spend the afternoon mired deep in the field. A late, third-pit stop for soft tyres would give Ricciardo the fastest lap of the day, but it would be little consolation on a day where he finished P18.
