Lando Norris: P4 at Circuit of the Americas

Norris finished fourth in the United States Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Norris would start on the pole but things would go haywire for the McLaren star in turn 1 of lap 1. He would be ambushed by both Ferrari driver as well as Max Verstappen and would tumble to fourth-place by the exit of turn 1. That would put Norris on the backfoot the rest of the day. He would run an extended opening stint to lap 31 and lead handful of laps as a result, but would be promptly shuffled back down to P4 once all stops were complete. Norris would seemingly get around Max Verstappen for P3 in a brilliant closing laps battle, but the stewards would mark him back to P4 due to track limits after the checkered flag.
