Yuki Tsunoda: Lap 1 Crash
Lawson crashed on lap 1 and finished 20th in the Mexico City Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Tsunoda's day would turn sour just shortly after the lights out. He would battle wheel-to-wheel with Alex Albon heading into turn 1 as the field fanned out into 5-wide racing entering the first turn. With nowhere to go Tsunoda would make contact with Albon's wheel and it would shear off Tsunoda's wheel sending him skidding into the turn 1 barriers on just three wheels. The Team RB driver's day would be done and Albon's car would require evaluation on pit road before also retiring due to the damage. Tsunoda will look to rebound next round out in Brazil.
