George Russell: Fast FP3 in Las Vegas
Mercedes driver Russell led the way during Friday's third and final practice session for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Analysis:
The cold and slippery conditions were once again on display in the cool of Friday evening at Las Vegas. Teams battled to get and keep heat in the tyres during the session. Russell would rise to the top of the timing sheets for the first time of the weekend with a lap of 1:33.570. He was two tenths clear of Oscar Piastri and more than three tenths clear of Carlos Sainz. Mercedes continues to have good pace in these evening conditions and Russell looks like a podium threat for Sunday's Las Vegas Grand Prix.
