Lewis Hamilton: Runner-up Finish in Vegas
Hamilton finished second in the Las Vegas Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday night.
Analysis:
Hamilton's miscue in qualifying would line him up 10th on the starting grid. However, the Mercedes star had an undeniably fast car as the sessions of the weekend had shown. Hamilton wasted no time methodically moving through the field. He would race into the lead by his lap 13 pit stop and then resume picking off spots post-pit. By lap 32 Hamilton was back up to second-place and would race there to the checkered flag. He would earn the impressive podium finish and driver of the day honors.
