Lando Norris: Lack of Pace in Vegas
Norris finished sixth in the Las Vegas Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday night.
Analysis:
After all three practices and qualifying is was apparent the McLaren's were battling uphill against faster cars at Mercedes and Ferrari. Norris would make the best of his P6 starting spot and battle it out just behind the leaders all evening. He would get as high as third-place during the second pit stop cycle but that would be it. Much of the grand prix Norris would spend watching the rear wings of the Ferrari's. He would to little consolation log the fastest lap in the final moments and would finish P6, one spot behind Max Verstappen and be effectively eliminated from championship contention.
