Valtteri Bottas: Strategy call doesn't pay off
Bottas finished 18th in the Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Sunday.
Analysis:
Bottas didn't show much one-lap pace in qualifying, made worse by a five-place grid penalty due to exceeding the limit of power unit components. Kick Sauber began the race attempting a one-stop strategy, though the tires wore faster than anticipated and forced two stops. As a result, Bottas wasn't able to make much of an impression on the field.
