Nico Hulkenberg: Points Day in Abu Dhabi

Hulkenberg finished eighth in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Lusail Circuit on Sunday evening.

Analysis:

The Haas F1 veteran qualified and raced well Sunday evening at the Lusail Circuit. Hulkenberg had qualified fourth but started P7 due to a 3-spot grid penalty from a qualifying infraction. He would pit early in the opening sequence of pit stops and switch to hard tyres for the long second stint. Hulkenberg would fight entertaining battles with both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen late in the grand prix, but he would hang on to take a strong P8 at the checkered flag.
